The History of Aunties & Uncles
Aunties & Uncles was founded in 1974 by Rose White and friends with a mission to "build a better life for children".
In 1979 the program began receiving funding from the Department of Community Services (DoCS).
Today we receive some funding from DOCS but rely primarily on community groups, clubs and individuals for the balance of our funding requirements.
