Can you help us?

Your Next Steps to becoming an "Aunt" or "Uncle".

Becoming an aunt or uncle is an important commitment and naturally we take the greatest care in reviewing all applicants. As a child-focused organisation, the needs and safety of the child underpin the entire Mentoring Program. Click here to complete an application form.

Home Assessment

You will then be contacted for an assessment interview after which you are required to complete Child Protection Requirements and provide three character references outside of your immediate family.

Volunteer Training

This generally takes place on a weekend.

Suitably matched

The time this takes will vary and can be up to six months. Your Co- ordinator will keep you informed throughout the process. We recognise and acknowledge that without our volunteer aunts and uncles, the vision of our founder Rose White in building a better life for children would not be possible.
